Amanda is a teacher, volunteer and an award-winning community activist, whose work and passion intersect at the forefront of K-12 education, public policy and gender equality. She is the founder of PoliticsNOW, an organization dedicated to electing women to municipal councils across Northern Ontario. She is a leading expert on women in politics in Canada and has appeared as a contributor with CBC, Flare Magazine, CTV, Global News and local news organizations across the country. She is currently undertaking a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy at OISE.
